Cultural Diversity, Inclusivity and Humility.

 

There are several takes on what it means to be culturally diverse and inclusive. For this training, humility is centered on understanding value differences and how said differences help add to the culture of the organization. Folks involved will learn the following:

  • The difference between concepts of race, ethnicity, gender, minority group components of culture etc.

  • Norms, values, traditions and how to differentiate those from dominant culture

  • An appreciation for culture identity and heritage

  • How to respect, accept and appreciate values differences

  • Awareness of self/one’s own biases and attitudes

  • How to adopt a behavior that is rooted in thought, values and promotion of cultural humility
